Good evening. Welcome to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Globalcast on posturethral valves and the importance of holistic care for the patients. I'd like to acknowledge our colleagues, uh, Jay and Josh from GlobalC who are helping us put this, uh, presentation on today and also my colleagues here. Uh, I'd like to introduce to you the panel that we have assembled today. Uh, to my left here, I have, uh, Donna Clase who is an assistant professor of, uh, pediatric nephrology here at Saintin Children's and a very dedicated, committed partner to the posturethral valve program that we've set up here at Saint Sat Children's. Uh, on my far left there we have Nicole Click who is the coordinator of the Posreal Valve Center, and, uh, in the past year she has done a phenomenal job of getting that center up and running and has really made some deep inroads with connections with families about how we can improve the care that we provide for the children that we're privileged to take care of. What we would like to do today is, uh, speak about in general, um, some of the aspects of postrethral valves and the care involved in taking care of children who are born with this condition. Talk about the importance of having collaborative care models. Nicole is then gonna take over and, uh, speak about our post-lethal valve center that we have here. And finally, Donna's, uh, Doctor Clay is gonna bring us home with the importance of having a nephrologist involved in the care of children with postfetal valves and how we can work together collectively to reduce the progression of kidney damage in children with this condition. So again, the topic for today's discussion is posturethral valves and the benefits of holistic care. Um, just, um, uh, disclosure, we have no financial ties with any companies that we're gonna be discussing any of the products with today. So, um, what we're gonna do today during the, uh, presentation is, uh, as I mentioned, provide an overview of postnatal valve so some of the families out there, uh, will get a better understanding of this condition and what's involved in the diagnosis and the care of a child who's born with this. Emphasize the importance of the collaborative care model and the benefits of that. Uh, Nicole is going to then talk about the PV Center that we have here and some of the, um, uh, workings of how that center is working and the benefits of being in a program that has a dedicated team that is committed to the care of a child with postrethral valves. Doctor Clayes is gonna talk about the nephrological care involved for patients and how we can work together to protect the kidney function.
