Dr. Miguel Guelfand, MD, FACS, is Section Head of Pediatric General and Thoracic Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital and a Full Professor of Surgery at the Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. He specializes in neonatal and pediatric minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of congenital malformations and has over 25 years of clinical experience. He has pioneered advanced surgical techniques including the first pediatric surgery in the United States using the Levita MARS robotic system and the first minimally invasive gallbladder removal using magnetic-assisted surgical technology in pediatric patients.
