Treatment patterns and outcomes for pancreatic tumors in children: an analysis of the National Cancer Database

This NCDB analysis of 109 pediatric pancreatic tumors (2004-2014) reveals stark survival differences by histology, ranging from 95% for pseudopapillary neoplasms to 34% for adenocarcinomas. Surgical resection with R0 margins emerged as the strongest predictor of survival across all tumor types.
