The terms on which the GlobalCastMD library may be used.
Last updated: 7 October 2026
These terms apply to the GlobalCastMD medical education library at library.globalcastmd.com. The separate StayCurrentMD platform and mobile applications have their own terms. By using the library you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use it.
The library is a professional education resource. Its recordings, documents and summaries describe clinical practice and opinion; they are not medical advice, not a protocol, and not a substitute for your own clinical judgement or for the standards of your institution. Nothing here creates a doctor–patient relationship.
Some material is generated or summarised with the assistance of automated tools. Summaries, transcripts and extracted statements can be wrong or incomplete. Where a point matters clinically, rely on the original recording or the cited source rather than on a summary of it.
Do not submit patient-identifiable information to the library through search, comments, uploads or any other field.
Some material is restricted to verified healthcare professionals, and some is private to a particular Space. Where you hold an account, give accurate details, keep your sign-in to yourself, and tell us if you believe it has been misused. We may suspend an account that is being used to circumvent those restrictions.
You may read, search, link to and share library material, and use it for your own education and for teaching within your institution, with attribution to the speaker and to GlobalCastMD. You may not republish it as your own, sell it, strip attribution from it, or feed it into another product or dataset without written permission.
Content remains the property of its authors, speakers and their institutions, or of GlobalCastMD, as the case may be.
If you publish into the library you confirm that you have the right to do so, that you have any consents your institution requires, and that the material contains no patient-identifiable information. You keep ownership of what you contribute and grant GlobalCastMD permission to host, display, index, transcribe, summarise and distribute it within the library. That permission lasts while the material remains published; if you withdraw an item we will stop distributing it, though copies already downloaded by readers are outside our control, and citations to it may remain.
The library is provided as it stands. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, that every item will remain published, or that automated summaries will be free of error. We may add, change or withdraw material and features.
The library links to journals, guidelines, hospital pages and other external resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GlobalCastMD is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the library, and is not liable for clinical decisions taken in reliance on material published here. The library is an education resource; responsibility for patient care remains with the treating clinician and their institution.
We may suspend or withdraw access where these terms are breached, particularly where someone attempts to reach restricted material, scrape the library, or publish content they do not have the right to publish.
If you believe material in the library infringes your rights, or that a recording was published without the consent it required, write to us at the address below identifying the item and the problem. We will review it, and will withdraw material while a genuine complaint is being resolved.
We may update these terms. The version published here is the one that applies. Where a change materially affects what you may do with the library, we will say so rather than rely on the date alone.
