Infographic: Tricuspid valve surgery in transposition of the great arteries with a systemic right ventricle
Topic overview
International cohort study of 2,562 TGA patients with systemic right ventricles examines outcomes of tricuspid valve surgery. Propensity-matched analysis shows TVS may benefit patients with moderate-severe TR and mild-moderate RV dysfunction, but not those with severe dysfunction. No survival difference found between surgical and non-surgical groups overall.
