Penile strangulation injury in children — Reconstructive procedure and outcome

Case series of 15 children treated for penile strangulation injury caused by hair or thread constriction in the penile groove. Single-stage surgical reconstruction achieved satisfactory functional outcomes in most cases, with one urethrocutaneous fistula requiring secondary repair during mean 6.5-year follow-up.
