A Single Institution Experience with Laparoscopic Hernia Repair in 791 Children

Retrospective study of 791 pediatric patients undergoing laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair using percutaneous internal ring suturing technique. Results demonstrate safety and efficacy with low complication rates: 0.4% conversion to open, 2.5% recurrence, and minimal postoperative complications including testicular ascent (1.3%) and wound infection (1.2%).
