This retrospective study of 103 pyloric ultrasound examinations reveals significant variability in measurement techniques for suspected hypertrophic pyloric stenosis, with inconsistent identification of anatomic layers and cursor placement. The authors found moderate inter-reader agreement and suggest pyloric diameter measurement may offer better standardization than traditional muscle thickness measurements.
