Comparison of anterior transgastric access techniques for natural orifice translumenal endoscopic surgery

This study validates anterior transgastric access for natural orifice translumenal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) using a dual-wire technique for site marking and gastrotomy retention. The method proved safe, efficient, and reproducible, though comparison with laparoscopy revealed differences in procedural approach and visualization.
