The Pediatric Colorectal and Pelvic Learning Consortium
Abstract
The Pediatric Colorectal and Pelvic Learning Consortium (PCPLC) was established in 2016 as an international consortium of surgeons, scientists, and other specialists with the primary goal of facilitating research to improve the care of patients with anorectal malformations (ARM), Hirschsprung disease (HD), intestinal dysmotility, fecal incontinence, and other colorectal and pelvic disorders. Surgical care and long term follow up is needed for these patient populations and is paramount for improving their overall health, long term outcomes, and quality of life.
