Well, now we have to vote on the uh ACRS papers. And so, uh we want to put up our poll. And uh let's see uh what we have here. All right, it's going to start shaking around. So as people are answering. We're gonna we're gonna yeah, go ahead. The paper the on healthcare literacy and the second paper on how far is too far or cost effective analysis. Let the poll roll and then we'll after this poll, we will go to the uh the final poll. So everyone please go ahead and answer and then what we're going to do is we're going to take the winner of this and the winners of the other two societies do one poll uh to determine uh what was the best uh paper in the in the country. I think we just did US here uh US societies over 2022. On these specialty societies. I have to say that every one of these papers was very stimulating and superb. Yeah. Which is a credit to these societies and I want to thank the societies for participating in this. What it does by doing this is give air to all these great papers that otherwise people might miss because if you're not at the SAT meeting and you can't read that journal and or if you're not at the hernia meeting, you don't hear these papers. And so this is gives life to these papers and a greater voice to the societies. We love this. And I I'll tell you as Mike said in the beginning or whoever said it, it everyone here is already the best of the best. This is more for fun. But uh I think it looks like the poll has settled out uh JP. So it looks like um 58.3% have chosen uh limited health literacy is associated with reduced adherence to ERP uh components. So, um, Ira, thank you so much. Um presentation. We're gonna we're now going to go to the uh final poll. Uh thanks Ira for for joining us. Um so this is the final poll uh and it's basically between the three societies. So it's SAT AHS and ACRS. So, uh remember we had um age exacerbate equity in telemedicine and that was the AHS paper. We have development of post-operative local tumors and distant mets and that was the SAT paper. And limited health literacy is associated with reduced adherence to ERP components uh and that was the uh ACRS paper. So, uh go ahead and vote um and uh we'll see what comes up here. So we'll wait a a couple of minutes here because I know that uh and just so you know, I don't know if you knew this before we started this. Uh there's a 22nd delay from when the poll goes up. So you're gonna have to wait uh here but it it does look like um the poll is moving around. So we'll wait a minute. Um I'll make a I'll make a quick comment while you guys instructed us out. Go ahead. So I I just um I'm going to give you guys a perspective. I think listen, for all the doom and the dread and the gloom that's going on in healthcare and surgery right now. I think it's moments like this when you see a bunch of young stars in all of these different societies. I think the energy is palpable. I think the work, everybody's work today is important. It's relevant, it's clinical, it's impactful. So I think that in the world that we live in today, we can choose to focus on a lot of the struggles and the and the limitations that where we practice. But I think that this just shows the excitement for our future as surgeons uh in in general surgery across all subspecialties. Um and I think each group is doing something great. I think this is the opportunity for us to kind of get excited and see what other people are doing. So I I appreciate being here. I appreciate everybody's uh time and effort and uh drive to get these things done. I know there's a lot of distractions in surgery in the world today. So I I just on a personal note, I'm passionate about research and and I this was some phenomenal talks and really tremendous work for all of our speakers. Absolutely. I agree 100%. So, uh I think we can probably call it now. Um again, this is a silly part of it because all these papers were great. But it does look like uh Ryan Morgan's paper, uh development of post-operative local tumors and distant mets and diet, uh from the SAT uh will be considered as the number one paper this year, the best of the best. Um, this was tough. These were amazing papers. I'm glad Ryan was able to come back here. Uh Ryan, uh congratulations and and great job representing a great organization. Oh, sorry, you cut out there at the end. Congratulations. Thank you. Thank you again for the opportunity to present. Uh the this little program is great. I really enjoyed hearing everyone's presentations. Um, thank you. We'll be sending you a gift by the way and a certificate and uh we will be announcing all of these great papers just so everyone knows. Um, we are going to be um making sure that everyone around the country knows about these best papers. Uh we'll be um telling everyone about it. So congratulations. Thank you to Mike and uh Dad uh and Isla who did all this a single uh woman show here. Thanks to everybody um and have a good morning, good afternoon or good evening. Thank you everybody. Take care everybody. Stay safe.
