We highlight what's new in pediatric surgery that you need to know!
Intended audience: Healthcare professionals and clinicians.
Good morning. Good afternoon, and good evening. Welcome to the 10th annual pediatric surgery update course. We are incredibly excited that we've made it 10 years, and this is the course that's gonna show you that we've been 10 years cause it's probably the best course we've ever had. We are excited to bring together surgeons from all over the world to come together to once a year, let everyone know what is new and important that has come out in the last year in pediatric surgery. It's a rapidly changing field. It's very hard to stay current, and that's the purpose of this event. This event is free, and it's not really free. The reason it's free is because for the past 10 years, we've had very loyal supporters, academic institutions that have been committed to education and have financially supported this event. It's Cincinnati Children's, Akron Children's, O'Shea Children's Hospital, Mercy Children's Kansas City, and UCLA. And on top of that, Uh, APSA and the Journal of Pediatric Surgery have also supported this, and this year, we actually have two, device companies that have sponsored this as well, Proximy and Carl Stuartz. So thank you to everyone here which has made this possible. As everyone knows, this is the live event, but this will be eventually put out for the world to have on video, both the full event and we're gonna chop up all the sessions so that you can refer back to them, uh, in the Stay Current app or on the, on YouTube. Uh, if there's, there's going to be, I always tell everyone, I promise you, there will be problems, always, for 10 years, there's always gonna be a problem. Most likely on my fault, but it will eventually happen. If it does, bear with us. We almost always are able to fix it, even if we have to, uh, leave the hotel and drive to my house, we will fix the problem. Um, so, and if there's a real problem, we'll still record everything and release it out to you. Um, we have, uh, if there's a lot of times the, the browser freezes, just close out, refresh your browser. Also, we'll put in the chat, if you guys could put in the chat, there's a phone number and an email if there's any issues during the event, just.
