Dr. Alexander G. Chiu is a professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Washington and serves as Executive Vice Dean of the UW School of Medicine and Senior Vice President for Medical Affairs. He is a rhinology and skull base surgeon with expertise in endoscopic sinus surgery and has held leadership positions including founding chair of otolaryngology at the University of Arizona and the Russell E. Bridwell, MD, endowed chair of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Kansas. Dr. Chiu is an advocate for diversity and inclusion in medicine and has been recognized for his contributions to health equity research.
