We wish to thank Medappil, et al. for their interest in our work [1]. The technical modifications highlighted in our study were not intended to be exhaustive, and we limited our detailed descriptions only to the aspects of the Kasai hepatoportoenterostomy (KPE) that were modified and aimed at minimizing invasiveness.
