An Electronic Health Record-integrated Web Application Augments a QI-directed Morbidity & Mortality Conference and Improves Quality of Care

This article describes the development and implementation of an EHR-integrated web application designed to enhance morbidity and mortality conferences by systematically tracking clinical failures, action items, and trends. The tool addresses limitations of document-based data storage, enabling better analysis of system failures and monitoring of quality improvement initiatives to prevent recurrence of adverse events.
