Clinical Application and Further Development of Augmented Reality Guidance for the Surgical Localization of Pediatric Chest Wall Tumors

This article describes clinical experience using augmented reality technology to improve surgical precision during pediatric chest wall tumor resections. The authors present both real-world operative cases and pre-clinical validation of an enhanced registration method designed to optimize intraoperative tumor localization while maximizing tissue preservation.
