Methods of measurement for pneumothorax in pediatric patients: a systematic review

This systematic review evaluates methods for measuring pneumothorax size on chest radiographs in pediatric patients. Among 45 studies analyzed, the Collins method was most commonly used and demonstrated accuracy in comparative studies, though significant variability exists in measurement approaches and pediatric-specific guidelines are needed.
