Aortopexy for tracheomalacia via a suprasternal incision

Single-center case series of 22 pediatric patients (median age 5 months) who underwent aortopexy via suprasternal incision for severe tracheomalacia. The technique achieved significant improvement in tracheal collapse (85% pre-op to 35% intra-op) with short operative times and rapid recovery, emphasizing the importance of careful patient selection and multidisciplinary evaluation.
