Transanal fistula repair for the treatment of rectovestibular fistula with normal anus in female children: a 5-year single-center experience

Five-year retrospective study of 56 female pediatric patients with rectovestibular fistula and normal anus treated via transanal repair. The technique demonstrated high success rates with minimal complications, three recurrences, and excellent long-term functional outcomes including preserved continence and normal anal appearance.
