Comparison of scrotal and inguinal orchiopexy for palpable undescended testis: a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials

Meta-analysis of eight RCTs comparing scrotal versus inguinal orchiopexy for palpable undescended testis. Both approaches show comparable safety and complication rates, though scrotal orchiopexy offers significantly shorter operative time (15 minutes less). Evidence supports either technique as effective for palpable UDT management.
