Thirty-eight cases of paraovarian cysts in children and adolescents: a retrospective study

This retrospective study of 38 pediatric paraovarian cyst cases found that 65.8% presented with adnexal torsion, with cyst size rather than BMI predicting torsion risk. B-ultrasound showing cyst-uterus deviation aids preoperative diagnosis, and laparoscopic cystectomy achieved favorable outcomes with no recurrence during follow-up.
