The expression analysis of SerpinB9 in hepatoblastoma microenvironment

This study demonstrates that SerpinB9, a granzyme B inhibitor, is predominantly expressed by tumor-associated macrophages rather than tumor cells in hepatoblastoma. Co-culture experiments and single-cell RNA sequencing reveal that macrophage-tumor cell interactions enhance SerpinB9 expression, suggesting a potential immune evasion mechanism in pediatric liver cancer.
