Neurodevelopmental evaluation of children who were operated due to congenital anomaly with the ‘Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ)’ and ‘ASQ: Social–Emotional’

This study evaluates neurodevelopmental outcomes in 33 children post-surgery for gastrointestinal congenital anomalies using ASQ screening tools. Results show 72.7% had developmental delays, with higher risk in premature and low-birth-weight infants, emphasizing the need for systematic post-surgical developmental follow-up.
