Application of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in the surgical treatment of vesicoureteral reflux in children

This study validates contrast-enhanced voiding urography (CeVUS) as an accurate, radiation-free alternative to traditional voiding cystourethrography for diagnosing and monitoring vesicoureteral reflux in children. In 78 pediatric VUR patients, CeVUS demonstrated high diagnostic agreement with VCUG and proved effective for surgical planning and postoperative follow-up assessment.
