Generation of human gastric assembloids from primary fetal organoids

This study demonstrates a novel method for generating human fetal gastric assembloids from primary organoids using collagen hydrogel self-assembly. The assembloids exhibit apico-basal polarity, mucin secretion, and stage-specific maturation markers, providing an advanced 3D platform for studying gastric epithelial development and disease modeling.
