Rhabdomyosarcoma with isolated lung metastases: A report from the Soft Tissue Sarcoma Committee of the Children's Oncology Group

This Children's Oncology Group study of 428 patients demonstrates that children with rhabdomyosarcoma and isolated lung metastases have significantly better survival outcomes than those with other metastatic sites (5-year OS 64% vs 27%). The findings support revising risk stratification to group patients ≥10 years with embryonal RMS and lung-only disease alongside younger patients for treatment planning.
