Comparison between two minimally invasive techniques for Hirschsprung disease: transanal endorectal pull-through (TERPT) versus laparoscopic-TERPT

This retrospective study compares two minimally invasive surgical approaches for Hirschsprung disease in 65 patients: transanal endorectal pull-through (TERPT) versus laparoscopic-assisted TERPT. Both techniques demonstrated similar long-term bowel function outcomes, though TERPT showed faster recovery while LA-TERPT had fewer early complications.
