Effectiveness of indocyanine green fluorescence imaging in resection of hepatoblastoma

This retrospective study of 23 pediatric hepatoblastoma cases demonstrates that ICG fluorescence imaging effectively delineates tumor margins during resection, with all primary lesions showing bright fluorescence and clear borders in 22/23 cases. The technique proved particularly valuable for detecting multiple lesions and guiding both anatomic and non-anatomic resections with real-time visualization of residual tumor tissue.
