Single-direction thoracoscopic lobectomy for incomplete pulmonary fissure in children with congenital pulmonary airway malformation: initial experience and propensity score-matched analysis

This propensity-matched study of 118 pediatric patients demonstrates that single-direction thoracoscopic lobectomy significantly improves outcomes in CPAM cases with incomplete pulmonary fissures, reducing operative time, blood loss, and complications compared to conventional approaches. The technique offers particular advantage when anatomic dissection planes are poorly defined.
