Clinical experience of thoracoplasty with absorbable rib substitutes

This case series describes successful thoracoplasty using absorbable rib substitutes (BioBridge®) in three pediatric patients with malignant chest wall tumors. The technique achieved negative resection margins, good cosmetic outcomes, and preserved chest wall flexibility without interfering with radiotherapy, offering a promising alternative for pediatric chest wall reconstruction.
