Biocompatible dressing for pediatric hypospadias repair

This study developed and tested a novel multi-layered biocompatible dressing for pediatric hypospadias repair using a rat wound model. The new dressing demonstrated superior absorption, ease of removal, and wound healing with reduced inflammation compared to standard gauze dressing, suggesting potential clinical benefits for postoperative hypospadias care.
