Follow-up of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia: Need for Routinary Assessment of Acid Gastroesophageal Reflux with pH-metry

Study of 21 CDH patients found that gastroesophageal reflux occurs frequently but often without symptoms, with patch repair and larger defects associated with worse pH-metry results. Authors recommend routine pH-metry screening at 1-year follow-up for all CDH patients regardless of symptom presence.
