This meta-analysis of 869 pediatric patients demonstrates that robot-assisted hepaticojejunostomy offers superior outcomes compared to laparoscopic approaches for congenital choledochal cysts, with reduced bleeding, fewer complications, and shorter hospital stays, though at higher cost. The findings support broader adoption of robotic techniques in pediatric hepatobiliary surgery.
