Rubber tourniquet technique: A simple, safe, and cost-effective method of hepatic resection in neonates and infants

This report describes a rubber tourniquet technique using Penrose drain for hepatic resection in infants under 6 months, applied in two cases: conjoined twins with shared liver and a neonate with hepatoblastoma. The method achieved minimal blood loss in patients with limited blood volume (80 ml/kg).
