Population-level analysis of 22,645 English children with IBD (1997-2015) demonstrates that increased biologic therapy use correlates with decreased surgical resection rates. Time to surgery remained consistent at approximately 8 months, raising questions about whether biologics prevent or merely delay surgical intervention into adulthood.
