Scoping review of recent evidence on the management of pediatric urolithiasis: summary of meta-analyses, systematic reviews and relevant randomized controlled trials

Scoping review of 33 high-level studies on pediatric kidney stone management reveals predominantly low-quality evidence across diagnostic, medical, and surgical interventions including lithotripsy, PCNL, and RIRS. Despite a decade of research, heterogeneity and bias prevent clear clinical recommendations, highlighting urgent need for rigorous trials.
