Bariatric surgery practice patterns among pediatric surgeons in the United States

This study examines how pediatric surgeons across the United States approach metabolic and bariatric surgery for adolescent patients. Despite evidence supporting safety and effectiveness, significant variation exists in practice patterns, highlighting the need for standardized protocols in adolescent weight-loss surgery.
