Clinical evaluation of transcatheter arterial embolization combined with propranolol orally treatment of infantile hepatic hemangioma

This retrospective study evaluates combined transcatheter arterial embolization and oral propranolol therapy for symptomatic infantile hepatic hemangioma in 12 patients. The treatment achieved 100% technical success with favorable outcomes in 9 of 12 cases, though complications included heart failure and hypothyroidism in some patients.
