Antitumor effect of polyphyllin D on liver metastases of neuroblastoma

This preclinical study demonstrates that polyphyllin D, derived from Paris polyphylla, significantly reduces liver metastases in mouse models of neuroblastoma by suppressing metastatic foci formation and inducing apoptosis. The research establishes proof-of-concept for polyphyllin D as a potential therapeutic agent against metastatic neuroblastoma.
