Hidden cardiovascular morbidity in children and young adults born with congenital diaphragmatic hernia: A population-based study

Swedish population study reveals CDH survivors face 15-fold increased risk of cardiovascular diagnoses beyond infancy, including arrhythmias and hypertension. Findings support structured lifelong cardiovascular surveillance for this patient population across pediatric and adult care settings.
