Surgical resection of infantile hemangiomas following medical treatment with propranolol versus corticosteroids

Retrospective study comparing surgical resection rates for infantile hemangiomas after propranolol versus corticosteroid treatment. Results showed significantly lower surgical intervention rates with propranolol (9%) compared to corticosteroids (27%), supporting propranolol as preferred medical therapy.
