Half-life of alpha-fetoprotein in neonatal sacrococcygeal teratoma

Retrospective study of 55 neonates with sacrococcygeal teratoma examining alpha-fetoprotein half-life kinetics post-resection. Found AFP half-life correlates with patient age (T1/2 = 0.0597 × days + 6.1643), providing baseline data for postoperative surveillance and early detection of recurrence in this patient population.
