Paediatric Anogenital Condylomata Acuminata: An Assessment of Patient Characteristics and the Need for Surgical Intervention

Retrospective study of 66 pediatric patients with anogenital warts demonstrates that HIV-positive children require significantly more surgical interventions to achieve lesion clearance compared to HIV-negative patients, despite similar initial surgical rates. Findings suggest earlier surgical intervention may be warranted in immunocompromised children with HPV-related anogenital condylomata.
