Face and construct validity assessment of training models for intestinal anastomosis in low-birth-weight infants

This study validated a novel surgical training model for intestinal anastomosis in low-birth-weight infants, addressing the technical challenge of small intestinal diameter and size discrepancy. The hydrophilic wet model demonstrated superior face validity and construct validity, with anastomotic leak pressure correlating significantly with surgeon experience.
