HIGH ALTITUDE SIMULATION TESTING IN PATIENTS WITH CONGENITAL DIAPHRAGMATIC HERNIA

This retrospective study evaluates high altitude simulation testing in CDH patients to assess safety for air travel. Only 30% passed initial testing, with disease severity correlating to hypoxia risk during simulated flight conditions. Findings suggest routine screening is warranted to determine supplemental oxygen needs for safe air transport in this population.
