Paediatric non-rhabdomyosarcoma soft tissue sarcomas: the prospective NRSTS 2005 study by the European Pediatric Soft Tissue Sarcoma Study Group (EpSSG)

This prospective EpSSG study of 569 pediatric patients with localized non-rhabdomyosarcoma soft tissue sarcomas established risk-adapted treatment protocols using surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy. Overall 5-year survival was 83.8%, with surgery-alone patients achieving 98.1% survival, supporting tailored multimodal approaches based on tumor characteristics.
