An unsolved problem in developing countries: hydatid cysts in children

Retrospective analysis of 205 pediatric hydatid cyst cases in an endemic region, predominantly affecting liver and lungs. Treatment approaches included PAIR technique for 61 hepatic cases and surgery for 109 patients, with cystobiliary fistula and atelectasis as primary complications.
