Short and long-term outcomes after pediatric redo fundoplication

Follow-up study of 24 pediatric patients undergoing redo fundoplication for recurrent GERD over 18 years. Despite 25% early major complications, 79% remained symptom-free long-term with 95% patient/parent satisfaction and willingness to repeat the procedure.
