Pathologic Correlation with Near Infrared-Indocyanine Green Guided Surgery for Pediatric Liver Cancer.

Near-infrared indocyanine green imaging successfully guided surgical resection in 14 pediatric liver cancer patients, enabling detection of pulmonary metastases not visible on preoperative imaging and identification of extrahepatic disease extension. The technique proved particularly valuable for assessing tumor margins during partial hepatectomy and identifying satellite lesions in multifocal cases.
