Combining inhibitors of Brd4 and cyclin-dependent kinase can decrease tumor growth in neuroblastoma with MYCN amplification

Study uses gene set enrichment analysis to identify therapeutic targets in high-risk MYCN-amplified neuroblastoma. Combined Brd4 and cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors (dinaciclib-AZD5153) demonstrated synergistic cytotoxicity in vitro and reduced tumor growth with increased necrosis in patient-derived xenograft models.
